One morning, I wake up to find a mysterious box on my doorstep. It isn’t addressed from anyone I know. Inside the box, there is a strange creature: a newborn unicorn! It is constantly changing colors and looking at me with its cute little adorable eyes. I am squealing in delight. I’ve longed for a unicorn for years! But… who sent it? My mind is racing with posibilities. It could be Ms.Riverra, the generous caretaker for mythical creatures, it could be Mr.Brewer, who loves to surprise people with presents, or it could be Claire, my closest friend who loves suspense. I try to figure out wich one of these sent it. I am thinking so hard that my brain might explode. “Ugh! I don’t know!” Suddenly, I hear a soft, gentle purring sound. It is coming from the sleepy baby unicorn. I put it on my fluffy bed and the unicorn drifts happily into its dreams and I continue thinking. ‘Maybe it’s Mr.Brewer. He hadn’t pulled a surprise on me fo a long time. Maybe he is trying to make up for it. Wait. No. I think it’s Claire. I mean we are best friends. Hang on. It could be Ms.Riverra. Maybe she noticed that I visit the unicorns a lot.’ “I give up! Maybe I should visit them one by one and ask!” Then, ding dong! The doorbell rings. I open the door and find Ms.Riverra, Mr.Brewer, and Claire. “Surprise!” They shouted. “Did you like the present that we gave you?” Oh… It was all three of them working together. I thanked them a million times. Ms.Riverra taught me a few things about taking care of unicorns, then we spent time together to celebrate. And that was truly the best day of my life.
