One morning, I wake up to find that I can speak and understand the language of animals. Excited by this new ability, I decided to spend the day talking to various animals. The frst animal I met is a wise old cat who has lived in the area for many years. I hestantly aproach the cat. “Hello! myname is Esther and I am 9-years-old. What is your name?” I nervously stuttered to the cat. “Hello. My name is Sage. I see that you have gotten the ability to speak animals. Now, what do you need?” He softly questioned. “I don’t have a specific thing that I want. I just thought that you might have some informations that I need.” I responded, still shivering in nerves. “Ah! you are a person with the ability to speak animals but do not desire anything specifically! This has never happened in hundreds of years! My ancester, the wisest of all, has written a book.” Sage stated. He disappeared for a second, then reapeared with a very, very thick book. “Open to page 562 and read the sentence at the top.” He ordered. With shaky hands I went through the ancient pages of the book, turned to page 562 and read the sentence at the top aloud. ” ‘Whoever is reading the book, if there is a person who have the ability to speak animals, you may tell them about the key and the cabinet.’ So, what is this key and the cabinet?” I asked curiously. Sage ooked at me very seriously before saying in a deep voice, “Follow me.” He led me to a huge rock in the middle of a side walk. He whispered some words, and… the middle of the rock diappeared, leaving a huge hole behind! Sage jumped into the hole, and so did I. Thump! “Ouch!” I cried. Then I looked around. It looked like a miniscule labatory. “Huh? What is this place doing here?” I asked Sage whatkind of place it was. Sage explained that it was a cats’ labatory. He went to a corner and took out an ancient map. “I cannot tell you all the details, but if you follow this rout right here and go in this cave, you are going to meet Luna, the intelligent dog. But be aware, the route is harsh. You must be careful. Also, Luna is very protective of puppy. You must earn her trust. Show her this envelope,” he told me, handing me the map and a beige envelope,”She will tell you where to go next. Now you must go!” He claped his paws twice, and suddenly, I was aboveground again!
